The standard charge for a Boat Safety Scheme Examination for a narrowboat is £130 (this includes the certificate fee of £28.20). This covers the issuing of all paperwork required: Examination Report, Appliance Record & the Boat Safety Scheme Certificate.

If your boat fails the examination, subsequent inspections are charged at £40.

VAT is not applicable. These prices include travelling charges within Oxfordshire and 25 miles from Kidlington.

Payment by cheque or cash is payable on completion of each examination - we do not accept credit cards.
